Puppy Jump Start
Did you know that the first 6 months of a puppy's life is the equivalent of the first 18 years of a person's life!?!? That means their habits, temperament, energy level and attitude are all solidified based on their experiences and interactions during those first 6 months! Did you know that by modifying their experiences you can actually mold and shape their personality, energy level, attitude and habits!?!
That's why puppy jump start is arguably the most important piece of lifelong training.

Stella the Therapy Puppy in training on a public outing.
We have two puppy jump start options:
1. Board and train, your puppy spends a month with me going on outings, into the field, potty training, crate training, socializing safely with other dogs, new environments. This course is especially helpful for puppies who are struggling with early behavior issues like fear, hesitation, excessive barking, potty training issues, etc.

2. Private Lesson Puppy jump Start- This program is ideal for service, therapy and any kind of working candidate, and of course pets! I prefer this model for people who will be teaching their dogs to work as therapy or service dogs because it teaches you from the ground up how your dog learns. Once you understand stress stacking, pattern teaching, chunking, you have a much better handle on how to progress your dog through day to day life as things arise, and they will! Dog owners who undergo this program also develop a better understanding of their dogs individual personality, likes, dislikes, body language ques, fears, what motivates and drives the individual dog. These are things that I can tell you if I trained your dog, but it doesn't mean that you will recognize it or know what to do when it happens. Puppy Jump start through private lesson really develops the tools for you to communicate, understand and support your partner long term in their career as a working dog, or superior family companion. This option is available in person or virtually. Service dogs meet once a week and Therapy dogs meet with me twice a month.
